Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at Cornerstone Christian Academy exists to help foster a sense of community at Cornerstone and support learning in a variety of practical ways. Comprised of both faculty and parents, PTF members volunteer to help with special events, and activities, and to reach out to involve other families as well. The work of the PTF blesses students, families, teachers, and staff.

PTF Carnival

The PTF will host their annual carnival on Friday, September 12.

Please note, this event is open to CCA students and their immediate family members only.  This is not a “drop off” event. Students in elementary and middle school must be accompanied by an adult. The PTF is not responsible for the supervision of students.

Thank you for joining the Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF). The link to the volunteer form below will allow you to sign up for numerous opportunities to be involved with the PTF. Please use this volunteer form to indicate the areas you would like to serve. Indicating a service area does not automatically sign you up to serve, but indicates you would like more information regarding the event. Individuals who sign up for specific areas will receive an email providing additional information regarding the event(s) you signed up for closer to the event date.

Please note you will not receive communication regarding the events you do not sign up to participate in. PTF events include but are not limited to Fall Family Carnival, Spring Foertmeyer & Sons Greenhouse Flower Sale, Teacher Appreciation Week, and various school and community support opportunities throughout the school year.

PTF Events & Activities

Flower Sale

This is the only PTF fundraiser throughout the year. Last year, the funds were utilized to purchase inflatables and items for the carnival, signage for the school, extended benches for the soccer teams, funding of sports and academic appreciation committees, and facilitate teacher birthdays.

Throughout the year, the PTF expresses their gratitude for the teachers and staff by providing various meals, birthday surprises, and notes of prayer and encouragement. PTF’s mission is to glorify the Lord by fostering a sense of community and encouragement in all we do.

The PTF carnival is attended by almost all of our CCA families and is a great opportunity to create new friendships and foster old ones. It is an amazing time of fellowship and fun.
